Before and After Monday

The After

The Before- These are the 3 photos I combined in Photomatix for the HDR:




After combining the 3 photos, I brought the image into Photoshop. There, I used a perspective crop to straighten the sides of the building. The image seemed a little boring to me so I brought in the original and applied a layer mask. I masked everything but the windows and some of the metal to give it a little pop. You can see how dramatic HDR can make clouds that were barely visible before. That's why I like shooting scenes like this on overcast days.

I actually had the originals on my computer for a long time, but didn't like them. I finally decided one day to convert them to HDR just to see what it would look like. It turned out better than I thought.

I don't know how well this Before and After is going to go over, but it's something that I've been wanting to try. Let me know what you think (good or bad). If people like it I'll keep doing it.

    it's easy cause the program does all :) You just need to find the view!
    check out Trey Ratcliff for hdr, he is amazing and one of the best in field!
