I had the chance to meet a good friend of my brother-in-law today. He lives about 10 minutes away in the oldest surviving mill in North Carolina. The place is amazing. They are still in the process of restoring it, so I will have to go back and take some more photos as they complete different areas. The inside is just as great as outside. There are many pieces of antique furniture and other items; some dating back to the 1600s. This is a view of the porch. I call it Peaceful Porch because the cat looked so peaceful sitting in the old rocking chair. I never saw him move the entire time. I guess he could have been dead, but The Dead Cat Porch just doesn't have the same ring to it.
What a awsome place to visit! So much history!
ReplyDeleteNice edit Deno. That cat could have been stuffed. A little creepy if it is but at least it kept still for all your shots.

I'll be back 'cause now I'm following.
A very artistic, kind of "antique" feeling in this. Very nice.
