Sunrise Over Lake Mackintosh (HDR)
I woke up early for some reason on Sunday, and couldn't go back to sleep. I decided to go out and get some breakfast. I took the long way, and passed by this lake. I started to drive on past, but I ended up turning around and taking a few shots from a bridge over the lake. I wish I had gotten there a little sooner when the sun was just coming up above the trees. I probably would have been if I hadn't stayed in bed for 30 minutes trying to talk myself into going back to sleep. I should have known better. I never listen to myself.

These shoots are just gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm running out of compliments ;o) These are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSweet HDR's Deno. you still using Photomatix? I bought it yesterday and am struggling to use it.
ReplyDeleteAre you just using the 3 different exposures -2 , 0 , +2 EV?
Shaun Valleys ShutterBug
I usually use just 3, but sometimes I will go 5 or more depending on how much contrast in light there is. I used 5 on these, but should have went more since the sun is still a little blown out.
DeleteThe shots are still excellent! Don't you just hate when you miss something to photograph?!
ReplyDeleteI kick myself all the time for passing by something that I wanted to photograph.
DeleteSuch beautiful captures. So glad you stopped and clicked.
