  1. How big is that sh*t? I know it's probably from the perspective and so on, but it looks huge! I wouldn't go so close to it, brrr!

    1. Haha. It's not very big at all. I did see another one like it today. I was trying to get a head-on shot and as I was looking through the lens it started walking forward. It felt like it almost on me. That freaked me out a little.

    1. Thanks! Yeah, they creep me out too, but when I'm trying to photograph them it's not so bad for some reason.

  3. Whoa! These are so cool! First, I've never seen a spider that color and then, those spikes!...great protection there. Wonderful macros...I suspect you're having a ball!

    1. Me either, but since I saw that one I've come across a couple more. One walked in my back door today so I had to chase it out... then I took some pictures of it. :)

    2. I just went back in your posts to see what size lens your macro was. The shots with this 100mm are great! I'm jealous...I haven't had time to get out much lately but, looking at your shots, I have to get off my butt and get out there. Truly enjoying all these great photos!
